Objective: Lead initiatives to gain market awareness and generate new sales leads for Cortex
Markets: Home Health; Skilled Nursing; Hospitals, Health Systems & ACOs
Product: Software platform for monitoring and following up with patients post-discharge

Description: Cortex is hiring a Director of Marketing to develop and lead a broad array of initiatives to generate market awareness and new sales opportunities for our fast-growing startup. This role includes both strategic development and tactical implementation of all marketing initiatives, reporting directly to the CEO. Our team is small; but we’re scrappy, smart and effective--the Director of Marketing should serve as an integral member of the Cortex executive team, able to both write the marketing playbook and reliably executive upon it.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for establishing strategic priorities, taking ownership of, and/or implementing new marketing initiatives for Cortex, including but not limited to:
Website and SEO
Digital Content Advertising
Healthcare Industry PR

Measuring results will be an important part of this role. Be prepared to regularly defend your methods!
Requirements: The Director of Marketing should ideally have significant (5+ years) experience successfully marketing B2B products/services in the healthcare industry. Experience with one of the following is a must, a combination is even better: startup growth, healthcare, long-term/post-acute care, technology, SaaS, B2B. A college degree is required, MBA preferred.
